Director Ahy researched true experiences of leukemia patients, then began to write this script. Ahy used his remaining tuition of 30000 RMB (USD 4400) to shoot this film.
In October 2015, Ahy started preparations by himself: from casting, set, design to directing, cinematography, editing, selecting and composing some music.
And here is the making of Ninety Days and One Night.
2015
Ahy started writing scripts from May to September. Then began to produce, Ahy first finds an apartment and then spent three weeks renovated the apartment.

After getting some sponsorship for some sets, then It's time to casting. Ahy has been casting for four months until April 2016.

This month was for the shooting.

After two months editing, Ahy finally finished this over a one-year personal independent movie.
